Brutal Unrest - Trinitas (EN)
Band: Brutal Unrest (D)
Genre: Death Metal
Label: Hammerheart
Records
Albumtitle: Trinitas
Duration: 42:03
Releasedate:
13.01.2017
The new year just starts like the old one ended: with rough and
magistral Death Metal from Germany.
"Trinitas" is my first
encounter with this Band although they already released two albums
and were formed in 2012.
Brutal Unrest gets going after a
short intro without being raging. Or in other words, the listener
gets mid-tempo Death Metal for the next three quarters of an hour.
Only Death Metal! The ones looking for influences of other genres or
innovations won't find anything at all.
The brutal riffs
remind of bands like Vader, Immolation or Deicide and they will now
and then be loosened with melodical leads like one knows it from
Dismember. A mix of american and swedish Death Metal in a way.
Vocalist Tommy Sonnenburg deserves a special praise as his voice
is etremely deep and brutal but still no opaque grunting - It is
simply awesome. Just the same as the procution that sounds earthy
and even so forceful and clear. That's how it should be.
Conclusion: This is technically well done Death Metal that is a good
fooder for fans of this genre.
