Das vergangene Jahr war ein sehr arbeitsreiches für die einzelnen PORCUPINE TREE Mitglieder. Trotz all dieser Aktivitäten, verlangen die Fans nach einer neuen PORCUPINE TREE Veröffentlichung. Das Warten hierauf hat im November ein Ende. Dann wird die Band mit "Octane Twisted" eine Doppel Live CD veröffentlichen, aufgenommen in Chicago während der Tour zum "The Incident" Album. "Octane Twisted" kommt am 30. November 2012 via Kscope/Edel in den Handel.
