Die dänische Thrash / Power Metal Band MANTICORA hat das Cover Artwork und Track List für das kommende 8. Studioalbum "To Kill To Live to Kill", das am 3. August über ViciSolum Records in den Handel kommt veröffentlicht.
Das Konzept Doppelalbum (das erste heißt "To Kill to Live To Kill" und das zweite folgt ein Jahr später) basiert auf dem Thriller / Horrorroman von Leadsänger Lars F. Larsen. Der Roman ist für eine Veröffentlichung im Mai 2018 geplant, weitere Informationen werden in Kürze erwartet. Das Cover Artwork wurde vom dänischen Maler / Tätowierer David Troest erstellt.
Lars F. Larsen sagte: "We have always tried out new cover artwork artists for each album, so when looking for the perfect person to give justice to the novel and the two albums, we wanted someone who'd be able to grasp the essence of the stories within the book, and when looking at David's pictures in general, it's evident for even the feeble-minded that he's that exact guy. He also lives less than an hour away from us, so it was a win-win situation for everyone to be able to meet up and do corrections on the front cover and all the other pictures that'll appear in the booklet. We're already beginning the work for the second album as well, so we can follow the release schedule of having the albums out 12 months apart."
Die Musik wurde in den Hansen Studios mit dem bekannten Produzenten Jacob Hansen (Volbeat, Destruction, ua) aufgenommen und gemischt. Die Vocals wurden mit Tommy Hansen in den Jailhouse Studios aufgenommen (Helloween, Beyond Twilight, Jorn, ua). Tommy hat zuvor fünf Alben für die Band produziert.
