Die Finnischen Melodic Death/Power Metaler NAILDOWN - featuring NORTHER Gitarrist Daniel Freyberg - haben sich in das Sound Supreme Studio in Hämeenlinna (Finnland) begeben, um ihr drittes Album aufzunehmen.
Laut Freyberg wird der Nachfolger von "Dreamcrusher" in einigen verschiedenen Studios "without stressful deadlines...
This is gonna be long process, but the engine is finally running again," augenommen.
Freyberg, der NORTHER offiziell Anfang 2010 beigetreten ist, beschreibt das neue NAILDOWN Material als: "really varied, from epic 10-minute songs to fast and ferocious tracks."
Er fügt hinzu: "Even though it's been a while since the last album, the band's sound is still recognizable."
Das neue Album wird das Debüt des neuen Drummers Heikki Saari, der ebenfalls ein Mitglied bei NORTHER und auch AMBERIAN DAWN ist.
"I'm thrilled to have Heikki onboard for his first NAILDOWN album," sagt Freyberg.
"His spectacular style and technique is a real asset to the band."
